Robert Ellsworth has 15 years of professional experience in corporate sustainability programming and ESG reporting. He currently holds the Director of Sustainability role at Schnitzer Steel Industries, Inc., responsible for sustainability strategy, stakeholder engagement, reporting, and performance initiatives. He has previously held roles within Operations, EH&S, Public Affairs, and Investor Relations functional groups within the Schnitzer organization. Robert has a Bachelor's of Science degree in Biology from San Diego State University, in San Diego, CA, and an M.B.A. from Portland State University, in Portland, OR. In his current role and throughout his career, he has been guided by creating "Purposeful Work", striving for "Continuous Improvement", seeking out "Innovation", and remaining grounded in sound "Ethics". Robert is passionate about helping family and friends overcome challenges in their lives.
