Brian Shine

CEO, Manitoba Corporation

Brian Shine is CEO of Manitoba Corp. and former national Chair of ISRI (2018-2020). A fourth-generation nonferrous metals recycler, his company operates two plants: Lancaster (Buffalo), New York, and St. Louis, Missouri, with a primary focus on processing high-grade copper scrap. Brian has held many leadership positions within ISRI, including membership committee chairman, audit committee chairman, and member of the board of directors. In addition, he served as president of the ISRI Empire State Chapter from 2004 to 2006. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Bowling Green State University and also a certificate from the Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership at the University of Buffalo, where he has since mentored a dozen candidates through the program. He also is a member of the Young Presidents Organization and a graduate of Leadership Buffalo.
